Description
Marloe Watch Company is a British brand founded in 2015 by Oliver Goffe and Gordon Fraser originally based in Marlow Buckinghamshire and now assembling watches in‑house in Oxfordshire. Both founders came from creative design backgrounds rather than traditional horology but shared a frustration with modern watches that looked premium on the outside and felt hollow once opened. Marloe’s signature is “Time Well Spent”, a motto that underpins the brand’s approach to watchmaking.
The Pacific 66 is where Marloe step it up in terms of quality and finish. It’s a limited edition of 125 pieces and introduces a more considered execution, particularly in the dial and case. The dial is matte black with a central pillow profile and a radial textured sub seconds at six. Applied indices and numerals are formed from Super‑LumiNova BGW9, with additional printed lume, so legibility is strong without relying on colour. The handset follows the same approach, with a two texture finish and a simple painted seconds hand. The case is black DLC and uses a tri-finish construction.
It’s paired with a box sapphire crystal and remains slim overall thanks to the manual movement (powered by a hand wound Swiss calibre).
Condition and performance
The watch is in excellent condition with no obvious signs of wear.
Supplied on a Marloe leather strap in great condition.
Comes boxed with owner’s manual, invoice and registration card.
