Founded in Bangkok in 2008, the company has developed a reputation for offering remarkably high specifications and finishing at prices that often seem too good to be true. The Adamascus True GMT is perhaps the best example of that approach. Housed in a 40mm case crafted from 904L stainless steel, a material more commonly associated with significantly more expensive watches, it combines everyday practicality with genuine traveller functionality. The proportions strike an excellent balance, offering modern presence on the wrist without straying into oversized territory.
The dial is clean, highly legible and thoughtfully executed. Applied indices, strong lume and a contrasting GMT hand ensure that tracking a second time zone remains effortless, while the ceramic bezel adds durability and visual depth. As with many WISE watches, the attention to detail is impressive throughout, from the quality of the finishing to the crisp execution of the dial furniture.
Power comes from the Miyota 9075 automatic movement, one of the most significant developments in the affordable GMT market in recent years. Unlike a caller GMT, the 9075 offers true traveller GMT functionality, allowing the local hour hand to be adjusted independently when crossing time zones. It is a feature traditionally reserved for much more expensive watches and gives the Adamascus genuine real-world utility.
